The program will also travel to Venice, Italy, for several cultural experiences.
For the first time ever, professionals will travel together with Michigan Inspirations - A Reggio Inspired Learning Communityand will include college student participants from Central Michigan University.
This site is designed to help participants and their families find information about our trip including our travel plans, links to places that we will visit, readings and assignments for those earning credit, travel journals, photos, and more. Each participant will have a page where their learning goals and trip updates will be posted for others to read.
The Loris Malaguzzi International Centre...
The Loris Malaguzzi Centre, opened in February 2006, is a dedicated meeting place where professional development and
research intersect for people in Reggio Emilia, Italy and the world who wish to innovate education and culture.
The Centre is an international place open to all ages, to ideas, different cultures, to hope and imagination. A place of the possible, both necessary and useful for the concept of a city ascribing value to change.
During the summer of 2014, CMU students, guest students, and faculty will participate together in this two week summer exploration around northern Italy for 3 credits of graduate or undergraduate credit! This group will be traveling along side of the Michigan Inspirations professional grop. Join us virtually as we explore the concepts behind some of the best early childhood programs in the world and the culture and landscape that inspires them!
